The Lake is Returning
The Town of Lake Lure has officially begun refilling the lake, with a targeted return planned for May 2026. As the water returns, so does a season shaped by long-standing lakeside traditions, from Memorial Day Weekend through our July 4 celebration with fireworks over the water.
This milestone marks meaningful progress for the entire Lake Lure community and sets the stage for warmer days, familiar rhythms, and time spent by the lake once again.
