After nearly 1.5 years of Hurricane Helene restoration and recovery, the Town of Lake Lure has announced that the refill process is officially underway. This milestone marks the beginning of the lake’s long-awaited return and sets the stage for the community and region to once again enjoy one of North Carolina’s most iconic natural treasures.
