July 4th Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Rumbling Bald in Lake Lure during a milestone summer for our community. In July 2026, fireworks return to Lake Lure for the first time since its restoration, anchoring a three-day Fourth of July celebration featuring lakefront activities, live music, family-friendly events, and holiday dining.

This year’s celebration will feature our largest fireworks show ever, honoring both the return of Lake Lure and the 250th anniversary of the United States. Guests can enjoy beach cookouts, concerts, games, parades, and special events throughout the weekend, with the main fireworks display taking place Saturday night over Lake Lure.

Friday, July 3rd

• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 11am-2pm Self-Led Scavenger Hunt
• 3-5pm Paddleboard Jousting Tournament
• 6-9pm Concert on the Beach featuring The Pleasure Chest
• 8-9pm Beachside Marshmallow Roast (while supplies last)
• 9:30pm Movie on the Beach – JAWS!

Saturday, July 4th

• 8-11am All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Buffet at Legends $25 (adults) / $15 (kids under 12). RSVPs strongly encouraged, walk-ins welcome. To RSVP, email events@rumblingbald.com.

• 11am-3pm Meet the Firefighters
• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 12-7pm Face Painting at the Bandstand
• 1-2pm Foam Party on the Pavilion Lawn

• (SOLD OUT) 6-8:30pm All-American Dinner on Terrace. Includes a buffet, cash bar, and private seating for fireworks. Price $60 (adults) / $20 (kids under 12). To RSVP, email events@rumblingbald.com. Featured menu items include: Wedge Salad, Hoppin’ John Salad, Shrimp Louie Sliders, Rolls, Herb Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Roasted Chicken, Brisket, Corn on the Cob, Asparagus, Assorted Desserts, and Chicken Tenders and Fries (Kids Meal)
• (SOLD OUT) 7-10pm Limited Members Only Seating “VIP Deck” at Legends. Includes Chef hors d’oeuvres and private seating for fireworks. Price $90/$115 with wine pairings (20-person limit).
