The Crown Match
Join us to spectate The Crown Match, a newer annual competitive tradition on Thursday, August 27th at Apple Valley Golf Course starting at 7:30am.
Beginning in 2025, we launched a new annual tradition at Rumbling Bald: The Crown Match. This 18-hole showdown features a head-to-head battle between our Men’s Match Play Champion and President’s Cup Champion to determine who earns the title of King or Queen of the Mountain. Each year, the winner’s name will be added to The Crown Match Trophy, permanently displayed in our Hall of Champions.
THIS YEAR’S MATCH WILL FEATURE:

- Jeff Geisler – ’26 Men’s Match Play Champion
