• ​A Weekend of Athletic Excellence: The Olympiad kicks off on Friday, August 9th, with the Slam The Dam 10K—an electrifying race that sets the tone for an action-packed weekend of sporting prowess.
• Triathlon Challenge: On Saturday, August 10th, witness the pinnacle of multisport competition with the Lake Lure Triathlon. Swim, bike, and run your way through an exhilarating course, showcasing the beauty of Lake Lure’s breathtaking landscapes.
• The Climactic Finale: Conclude the Olympiad weekend on Sunday, August 11th, with the Race To The Rock 5K, an uphill challenge that leads participants to the majestic summit of Chimney Rock—an iconic endpoint that rewards determination with breathtaking views.
