July 4th Celebration

Celebrate July 4th weekend with us as we bring back one of Rumbling Bald’s most loved traditions. Fireworks over Lake Lure return in 2026, setting the stage for three days of summer fun, lakefront gatherings, and family-friendly activities. From beach cookouts and games to concerts, parades, and special holiday dining, this weekend offers something for everyone.

Friday, July 3rd

• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 11am-2pm Self-Led Scavenger Hunt
• 3-5pm Paddleboard Jousting Tournament
• 6-9pm Concert on the Beach
• 8-9pm Beachside Marshmallow Roast (while supplies last)
• 9:30pm Movie on the Beach – JAWS!

Saturday, July 4th

• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 10-11:30am Morning Games
• 11am-3pm Meet the Firefighters
• 1-2pm Foam Party on the Pavilion Lawn (Double Cannons)
• 2-3:30pm Afternoon Games
• Golf Cart Parade at 4pm. Please call the Bald Mountain Pro Shop to sign up, 828.694.3042.
• 6-8:30pm All-American Dinner on Terrace. Includes a buffet, cash bar, and private seating for fireworks. More information coming soon, including pricing and RSVP details.
• 7-10pm Limited Members Only Seating “VIP Deck” at Legends. Includes Chef hors d’oeuvres and private seating for fireworks. More information coming soon, including pricing and RSVP details.
• 9:30pm Fireworks over Lake Lure

Sunday, July 5th

• 10am-2pm “Hair of the Dog” Brunch Buffet
• 11am-4pm WNC Vendor Village
• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 1-3pm “Take the Stage” – Karaoke at the Bandstand
• 4pm Cornhole Tournament
