4th of July Weekend Celebration

An Unforgettable July 4th at Rumbling Bald!

Join us for one of our most anticipated summer traditions. Our annual July 4th Fireworks Show returns this year at a new location—Bald Mountain Golf Course. Gather with family and friends as the night sky comes alive and lights up the surrounding mountains.

Leading up to the big show, we’ll have a full weekend of events and activities for all ages. From live music and lawn games to relaxing ways to unwind, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Thursday, July 3rd

• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 11am-8pm Rumbling Bald Scavenger Hunt
• 11am-4pm Chimney Rock Vendor Village at the Pavilion
• 8:45pm Movie Night on the Beach – Shark Tale

Friday, July 4th

• 9-11am Hot Air Balloon Rides at the Bald Mountain Golf Course
• 11am-8pm Beach Cookout
• 10-11:30am Morning Games
• 1-2pm Foam Party on the Pavilion Lawn
• 2-3:30pm Afternoon Games
• Golf Cart Parade at 4pm. Please call the Bald Mountain Pro Shop to sign up, 828.694.3042.
• 9:30pm Fireworks over Bald Mountain Golf Course (site map)
• 10pm-12am Silent Disco Afterparty on the Terrace

Saturday, July 5th

2025 Wristband Policy

• Member requests for wristbands can be made from June 16th – July 3rd by clicking THIS LINK.  Wristbands will be available for pickup within 2 business days at Guest Services during business hours.
• Wristbands are limited to 2 per bedroom +4, maximum of 12 for an improved property.
• Limit of 4 wristbands per unimproved lot.  Members can get wristbands for all properties owned.
• The requested wristbands will also be available for pickup on July 4th in the Admin Building from 8:30 – 7:30pm.
• Children 11 and under will not be required to have wristbands. 

Please note all registered Rumbling Bald Lodging Guests will receive their wristbands at check-in. There is no need to request your wristbands.

Fireworks at Rumbling Bald 

Rumbling Bald is still hosting a fireworks event for members and guests this year – even without the lake being available!  The fireworks display will be held on the Bald Mountain golf course, and you can view the site map here.

• You are welcome to set up in the viewing areas starting at 6pm. Please note that regular play and event setup will be taking place until this time, and golf course access for fireworks viewing will not be allowed prior to 6pm.
• Do NOT set up, walk on, or drive golf carts on the greens, tee boxes, or sand traps.
• Please limit golf cart use to the NORTH end of the viewing area only.
• Please stay behind the crowd control barriers.
• Parking along Mountains Blvd is NOT permitted at any time.
• Just like every year, tents will NOT be permitted in any common area, including the audience viewing areas.
• Parking in the Bald Mountain driving range will be available starting at 12pm.
• Parking in the designated parking area across from Trout Stream Villas will be available starting at 6pm.
