Due to increased demand since 2022, we needed to address the challenge of event registration. From March 1st-13th, our POA members will have the opportunity to sign up. Starting March 14th at 9am, all sign-ups must be sent via email to abowles@rumblingbald.com.

Tournament Information

• Monday is a practice round.
• Tuesday and Wednesday are rounds one and two.
• Two-person low net, low gross
• Flight winners and closest-to-hole prizes
• Overall gross and net winner
• Limited to 52 teams
• Range balls are included each day.
• The maximum number of shots a player will receive is 36, regardless of handicap index

MONDAY, THE 18TH

• Practice rounds may be scheduled at your convenience
• Reduced the rate for players to $45
• Putting contest from 4-6pm on the Bald Mountain practice green
• Registration is from 5:30-7pm at the Lakeview Terrace with a cash bar
• Tee gifts distributed
• Dinner at 7pm on the Lakeview Terrace

TUESDAY, THE 19TH

• Apple Valley Golf Course, 18-holes
• Breakfast at the Lakeview Terrace from 7:30-8:50am
• Round one begins at 9am.
• Optional box lunch available for purchase
• Dinner at 7pm on the Lakeview Terrace
• Evening entertainment

WEDNESDAY, THE 20th

• Bald Mountain Golf Course, 18-holes
• Breakfast at the Lakeview Terrace from 7:30-8:50am
• Round two begins at 9am.
• Lunch will be provided after play on the Lakeview Terrace
• Awards

Entry Fee: $320 pp
Entry Form due by April 1st, 2026. Per person; does not include lodging.

Lodging Information

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure offers a variety of vacation rental options. We have everything from studio villas to two and three-bedroom condominiums. A portfolio of individual mountain homes is also available. Two-, three-, four-, and six-bedroom homes offer a variety of sleeping arrangements for groups of all sizes.

APPLE VALLEY VILLAS – $145*
One-room efficiency villas have one king or queen bed with a sleeper sofa, or two double beds. Efficiency kitchen includes a two-burner stove, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and a kitchen table for four. All units have a balcony. The Apple Valley Villas are located approximately one mile from the main outdoor pool, recreation center, and private beach.

FAIRWAY VILLAS – $250*
Located along the Bald Mountain Golf Course, Fairway Villas offer two bedrooms, two full baths, a living room, a full-size kitchen, and a washer and dryer. These units are located within walking distance of the main outdoor pool, Wellness Center, and private beach. Various locations offer views of the fairway, and/or mountains, and/or Bald Mountain Lake.
