Annual Spring Clean-Up
It’s that time of year again when Rumbling Bald provides a yard debris clean-up for Members. We generally plan a yard clean-up coinciding with the Fall and Spring of each year. The purpose of this event is to reduce tinder and potential fire hazards like dead underbrush, fallen tree limbs, and dead trees.
This year’s Spring Clean-Up is from March 25th – March 29th. The sign-up period is open, and you must sign-up to participate. CLICK HERE to register!
We ask participants to place their yard debris i.e. bushes, sticks, limbs, and small trees on a flat surface within ten feet of the primary road for their residence no later than March 20th. We will compile a list from the sign-up and provide to the road maintenance contractor to begin debris removal.
Anyone choosing to remove trees, live or dead, that exceed three inches in diameter as measured one foot above the ground, must first obtain ACC approval. You can find the application for exterior modifications here.
Note: Rumbling Bald will cover the first 20 minutes of labor to remove debris with property owners incurring the costs for any debris removal requiring more than 20 minutes of work or more than one trip to remove debris.
