Yes. Rumbling Bald remains open, and many of our amenities are available for guests and members to enjoy. Please note that some amenities are seasonal and offered during our in-season period, generally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Beach access has been restored for limited use; however, access to Lake Lure itself remains temporarily unavailable. The lake is currently closed to all activity, including swimming, boating, and rentals. The Town of Lake Lure is targeting May 1, 2026 for the lake’s full reopening. View the Town’s update here
In the meantime, Rumbling Bald offers a wide range of experiences, including championship golf, wellness and fitness programs, spa services, dining, and more. There is still plenty to enjoy during your stay.
