Open Mic Night

Calling all writers in the Hickory Nut Gorge!

Open to Members, Lodging Guests, and the General Public.

If you write, we invite you to come read! And even if you have someone else’s poetry or essay that you’ve read and would love to share, bring it along. Whether you’re into short stories, personal essays, poetry, flash fiction, satirical essays, original songs (spoken word only, no singing), stand-up comedy scripts, memoirs, excerpts from novels, or even a short “how-to” piece—this Open Mic is for you!

Readers, please email events@rumblingbald.com to secure your spot for 5-10 minutes. Walk-ups are welcome on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Please note that no reservation is required to attend and observe the readings. Light menu and a cash bar will be available for purchases.
