Lake & Beach Grand Reopening

Join us at Rumbling Bald as we come together for a brief ceremony recognizing our community’s resilience and the Town of Lake Lure’s official announcement of the lake’s reopening.

Schedule of Events

  • 11am | Morse Park (Lake Lure)
    • Cookies and punch will be served.
  • 2pm | Rumbling Bald Beach Bandstand
    • Hear remarks from Mayor Carol C. Pritchett, Colonel Brad A. Morgan (USACE), and Rumbling Bald’s General Manager Jeff Geisler.
    • Light refreshments will be available.
