February Fitness Classes
At the Wellness Center, we have plenty of fitness classes and active groups to get you out and about! Join our weekly fitness classes Monday–Saturday. From morning walks to yoga and aqua aerobics, you’re sure to find something you enjoy that keeps you active. For more information, please call 828.694.3005

Class Descriptions
Aqua Aerobics – The instructor will begin the first 20 minutes of class focusing on cardio endurance, working not only the heart and lungs but all muscles of the body. Aqua Aerobics is also great for all-over toning and improving your balance. Don’t forget those vocals, they’ll also be worked. The class meets at the Wellness Center indoor pool. Instructor – Ela
Tai Chi – Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art that is practiced for both defense training and health benefits. This class will help improve your fitness level, balance, circulation, muscular endurance, and most importantly, quality of life. Instructor – Sharon
Barredioga – A combination of barre, cardio dance, and yoga stretching unique to Rumbling Bald! This class features an energizing dance style warm-up, followed by isometric muscle toning barre burns, and cool down with calming, mindful yoga for that full body experience. Instructor – Joy
Sculpt & Sweat – This class is a high-intensity interval training, combining weights, cardio, and lots of fun energy! Instructor – Joy
Express Yoga – This 30-minute intermediate yoga class is wonderful for those with a busy schedule or who need that quick break during their work day. Improve mobility, increase muscle tone, and boost your mood. Beginners are encouraged to try gentle yoga before attending this class. Instructor – Anna
Gentle Flow Yoga – Welcoming both beginners and seasoned yoga practitioners alike. This one-hour class helps you unwind and let go of a hectic day. After centering ourselves with mindful breathwork or meditation, we will intentionally move through a series of both floor and standing asanas (yoga poses) with the intention of improving overall flexibility, cultivating body awareness, and promoting wellness. Fitness classes are subject to change without notice. Members & guests 14-17 years of age are not permitted to use the Fitness Center or join fitness classes without an adult present. Classes are complimentary for members & timeshare owners with owner cards. Lodging/Member guests are charged a fee. For more information, call 828.694.3005.
