April Fitness Classes
At the Wellness Center, we have plenty of fitness classes and active groups to get you out and about! Join our weekly fitness classes Monday–Saturday. From morning walks to yoga and aqua aerobics, you’re sure to find something you enjoy that keeps you active. For more information, please call 828.694.3005
New Fee Structure for Group Fitness
Starting April 1st, our Group Fitness Classes will follow a new fee structure:
Group Fitness Classes
- $10 per person, per class
- $25 for a week
- $15 monthly membership for RBLL homeowners and timeshare owners
Additional Information
- Please visit the Wellness front desk for signups, questions, and monthly memberships.
- Membership discounts apply to the $10 and $25 fees. However, no additional discount is available for the $15 monthly membership.

Class Descriptions
Aqua Aerobics – In the first 20 minutes of class, the instructor will focus on enhancing cardio endurance, engaging not just the heart and lungs but also every muscle in your body. Aqua Aerobics is excellent for overall toning and improving balance. And don’t forget, your vocal cords will also get a workout! Instructor – Ela
Tai Chi – This internal Chinese martial art is practiced for both self-defense and health benefits. Participating in this class will enhance your fitness level, balance, circulation, muscular endurance, and most importantly, your quality of life. Instructor – Sharon
Barredioga – Experience a unique blend of barre, cardio dance, and yoga stretching exclusive to Rumbling Bald! This class includes an energizing dance-style warm-up, followed by isometric muscle-toning barre exercises, and concludes with a calming yoga session for a complete body experience. Instructor – Joy
Sculpt & Sweat – Engage in a high-intensity interval training session that combines weights, cardio, and an abundance of fun energy! Instructor – Joy
Boot Camp – This class features station work that incorporates a HIIT format, focusing on muscle strength, endurance, cardiovascular training, and joint mobility exercises. (Moderate to high intensity) Instructor – Amy
Pilates – Concentrate on precise movements, controlled breathing, and core engagement to enhance strength, flexibility, and posture. Instructor – Joy
Core & More – This class is built around ten different abdominal exercises targeting all areas of your midsection. It includes balance exercises to boost stability and posture, as well as exercises for strengthening ankle, hip, and shoulder joints. Suitable for all ages and levels, it aids in fall prevention, enhances mobility, and increases strength. (Low to moderate intensity) Instructor – Amy
Gentle Flow Yoga (Virtual) – Open to both beginners and experienced practitioners, this one-hour class allows you to unwind and release the stress of a busy day. After centering ourselves with mindful breathwork or meditation, we will flow through a series of floor and standing asanas (yoga poses) aimed at improving flexibility, cultivating body awareness, and promoting wellness. Instructor – Anna Please note: This class will be held virtually due to an instructor injury until in-person sessions can resume.
