Chili Cook Off

Grab an apron and go head-to-head with fellow members as you compete for the coveted title of Best Chili at Rumbling Bald!

Best Chili will be voted on by YOU, the members of Rumbling Bald, so come hungry! The top two chilis will compete in a blind taste test conducted by Charlie Johnson, your Board President.

For Competitors

• Arrive by 4:30pm to set up.
• You’ll be assigned a station with access to power.
• Bring enough chili for tasting—sample cups will be provided.
• Keep your chili warm! Bring a crockpot or warming tray.

For Tasters

• Tasting begins at 5pm.
• Each person will get a ballot for their top three favorite chilis.
• A toppings bar will be available.
• Taste each chili and vote for your favorite!

The Finale

• The top two chilis, as voted by members, will move on to a blind taste test judged by Charlie Johnson, your Board President.
• Winner receives the “Best Chili at Rumbling Bald” title and will be featured on The Gardens menu.
