DESCRIPTION:1st Round: June 1st-June 15th at Apple Valley\n2nd Round: June 16th-June 30th at Bald Mountain\n3rd Round/Semifinals:July 1st-July 20th at Bald Mountain\nFinals: July 21st-July 31st at Apple Valley \n\nPlayers will receive 100% of their handicap. We will use the daily updated handicap from GHIN.\nA player may choose to play from either the Yellow (if 65 or older) or White Tees and will receive the handicap shots from those tees.\nThere will be no adjustments made for players competing from different sets of tees. \n\nPlayers will notify the shop when they check in that they are playing their match. They will receive a scorecard for their match\, which must be turned in after play. \nOpen to POA/MGA/GOLF/PREMIER Members. \nThe $20 entry fee must be paid before your first match is played. \nFor more information\, please call the Pro Shop 828.694.3042.

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Rumbling Bald in Lake Lure during a milestone summer for our community. In July 2026\, fireworks return to Lake Lure for the first time since its restoration\, anchoring a three-day Fourth of July celebration featuring lakefront activities\, live music\, family-friendly events\, and holiday dining. \nThis year’s celebration will feature our largest fireworks show ever\, honoring both the return of Lake Lure and the 250th anniversary of the United States. Guests can enjoy beach cookouts\, concerts\, games\, parades\, and special events throughout the weekend\, with the main fireworks display taking place Saturday night over Lake Lure. \nFriday\, July 3rd \n\n11am-8pm Beach Cookout\n11am-2pm Self-Led Scavenger Hunt\n3-5pm Paddleboard Jousting Tournament\n6-9pm Concert on the Beach\n8-9pm Beachside Marshmallow Roast (while supplies last)\n9:30pm Movie on the Beach – JAWS!\n\nSaturday\, July 4th \n\n11am-8pm Beach Cookout\n10-11:30am Morning Games\n11am-3pm Meet the Firefighters\n1-2pm Foam Party on the Pavilion Lawn (Double Cannons)\n2-3:30pm Afternoon Games\nGolf Cart Parade at 4pm.
