The purpose of this event is to reduce tinder and potential fire hazards like dead underbrush\, fallen tree limbs\, and dead trees. \nCollection for this year’s Spring Cleanup will take place from March 23rd – March 27th. \nBefore registering\, please carefully review the information below: \n\nRumbling Bald pays for the removal of one debris pile limited in size to 10ftx10ft and stacked no higher than 4ft.\nAny additional debris will incur a cost to the property owner.\nLeaves are not to be blown into ditch lines or culverts. Please clear your ditch line of leaves\, sticks\, and built up sediment/debris!\nAll debris MUST be placed on a flat surface within 10ft of the primary road for their residence no later than March 23rd.\nDo NOT place the debris pile on a driveway\, in a landscaped bed\, on a water meter\, or near utility boxes or mailboxes. The contractor uses large equipment to pick up the debris\, and we do not want your property damaged through no fault of the contractor.\nRegistration will be open from February 16th – March 19th. You must sign up to participate. If you do not register\, or if you place debris at the road after cleanup has been completed\, the debris will not be picked up.\nThis service is meant for general yard cleanup. SUMMARY:40th Annual Lake Lure Lions Club Open Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Lake Lure Lions Club and hosted at the Bald Mountain Golf Course \nFormat \n\nSign up a Team or individually (we will place you on a team). Print your name\, USGA or GHIN handicap index (handicap must be verified.) If you do not have a verifiable handicap\, you will need to call Adam Bowles (828) 694-3040 to discuss. If you are unable to submit a handicap\, you will be given a handicap of 0.\nScoring will be Handicapped Scramble.\nMen 56 and over will play from yellow tees. Men 55 and younger will play from white tees. Women will play from red tees.\nEntry fee is $100 per player. Cash or check only; NO CREDIT CARDS. Entry fee includes all golf fees\, coffee and donuts prior to 8:30am shotgun start.
