Join Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) at Legends on the Lake for a Trails Update and Volunteer Information Meeting! \nROC is an outdoor recreation and environmental education non-profit connecting the people of Rutherford County to the outdoors. ROC partners with Lake Lure to maintain the Buffalo Creek Park\, Weed Patch Mountain\, and Dittmer-Watts trails\, ensuring that they are safe and usable for everyone. \nJoin us at Legends on the Lake at 5pm on March 10th to receive updates on the statuses of these trails\, as well as volunteer opportunities that will allow you to be part of restoring our beautiful trails! \nOpen to the Public!

DESCRIPTION:Working on a writing project and want to get some creative juices flowing? Wanting to reawaken the joy you once felt journaling? Thinking it would be fun to create alongside your neighbors? Come join us as we write on the fly! You’ll have an offering of prompts with varying writing times (anywhere from 2-8 minutes) and in most cases\, you’ll choose the format you’d like to use to respond. What interesting flash fiction\, poems\, stories\, free-flowing thoughts\, characters\, or even personal narratives are just waiting to reveal themselves? You’ll be encouraged to share your writings after each prompt. \nPlease bring your own writing supplies. \nPlease reserve your seat by emailing Karin Solomonson at teamckeb@gmail.com.
