SUMMARY:39th Annual Lake Lure Lions Club Open Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Lake Lure Lions Club and hosted at the Apple Valley Golf Course \nFormat \n\nSign up a Team or individually (we will place you on a team). Print your name\, USGA or GHIN handicap index (handicap must be verified.) If you do not have a verifiable handicap\, you will need to call Adam Bowles (828) 694-3040 to discuss. If you are unable to submit a handicap\, you will be given a handicap of 0.\nScoring will be Handicapped Scramble.\nMen 56 and over will play from yellow tees. Men 55 and younger will play from white tees. Women will play from red tees.\nEntry fee is $100 per player. Cash or check only; NO CREDIT CARDS. (Premier 1 or Golf Members $45.) Entry fee includes all golf fees\, coffee and pastries prior to 8:30am shotgun start. A lunch is included in the tournament fee.\nPrizes – Men’s and Women’s Divisions:\n\nPrizes for Winners – Overall Low Gross Teams and 1st and 2nd Place Low Net Teams – will be Pro Shop Gift Certificates (Men and Women)\nCash prizes for Men’s Closest to Pin on #17; Women’s Closest to Pin on #3\nHole-in-One on hole #8 is $200 Cash. SUMMARY:Memorial Day Red\, White\, & Blue Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Monday\, May 26th for our annual Memorial Day Red\, White\, & Blue Golf Tournament at Apple Valley Golf Course with a 9am shotgun start. \n\nFormat: Individual Stroke Play. All players will receive 100% of their handicap.\nMen must play 6 holes from the white tees\, 6 holes from the blue tees\, and 6 holes from the red tees.\nLadies will play 6 holes from the green\, 6 from the yellow\, and 6 from the red.\nEntry Fee: $30pp (plus applicable golf fee)\n\nYou will be scored for a Gross and a Net. There will be a Men’s and Women’s Division and players will be flighted in each. Plenty of opportunities to win! We will also have a Closest to Hole and a Long Drive for each division. \nRSVP: Sign up in the Bald Mountain Pro Shop by Saturday\, May 24th. \nThis golf tournament is open to Members and Lodging Guests only. Must have a handicap.
