Call for details. Golfers will play five 9-hole matches within their flight over two days. Winners will be determined by the total accumulated points of the five matches. Ties will be determined by their head-to-head match with additional tiebreakers if necessary. Overall Tournament Champions will be decided by an exciting Flight Winner’s Shoot-Out. \nHandicaps and Flighting\nTeams will be flighted based on a combined Handicap Index. If you anticipate an issue regarding your or your guest’s handicap\, please contact Adam Bowles at 828.694.3040 prior to the tournament. Each player will receive 100% of their course handicap per the USGA Rules of Handicapping. Players will stroke off the low player in each match. If not\, your team will be dropped\, and we will go to our waiting list. \n\nTournament Information \n\nMonday is a practice round.\nTuesday and Wednesday are rounds one and two.\nTwo-person low net\, low gross\nFlight winners and closest-to-hole prizes\nOverall gross and net winner\nLimited to 52 teams\nRange balls are included each day.\nThe maximum number of shots a player will receive is 36 regardless of handicap index.\n\nMonday\, the 19th \n\nPractice rounds may be scheduled at your convenience. DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Lake Lure Lions Club and hosted at the Bald Mountain Golf Course \nFormat \n\nSign up a Team or individually (we will place you on a team). Print your name\, USGA or GHIN handicap index (handicap must be verified.) If you do not have a verifiable handicap\, you will need to call Adam Bowles (828) 694-3040 to discuss. If you are unable to submit a handicap\, you will be given a handicap of 0.\nScoring will be Handicapped Scramble.\nMen 56 and over will play from yellow tees. Men 55 and younger will play from white tees. Women will play from red tees.\nEntry fee is $80 per player. Cash or check only; NO CREDIT CARDS. (Premier 1 or Golf Members $45.) Entry fee includes all golf fees\, coffee and pastries prior to 8:30 AM Shotgun Start. DESCRIPTION:Join us for Apple Valley Golf’s 3rd Annual Tough Day Tournament on Saturday\, February 24th with a 10am shotgun start. \nFORMAT: Your 4-person team will play Captain’s Choice for an 18-hole gross score. All the holes will be set up as par 3s. The pin positions for the day will be set up in areas you could only dream up. The maximum score per hole is 6. \nENTRY FEE: $10 cash \nPRIZE: Payout to top 3 teams \nREGISTER: Make your own foursome or sign up individually and we will pair you up. SUMMARY:8th Annual Men's Member-Guest
DESCRIPTION:This event is sold out. \nGolf Tournament on October 19-21 at Bald Mountain & Apple Valley Golf Courses. \nFORMAT\nComplimentary Practice Round on Thursday\, October 19th. Call for details. Golfers will play five 9-hole matches within their flight over two days. Winners will be determined by the total accumulated points of the five matches. Ties will be determined by their head-to-head match with additional tiebreakers if necessary. Overall Tournament Champions will be decided by an exciting Flight Winner’s Shoot-Out. \nHANDICAPS AND FLIGHTING\nTeams will be flighted based on a combined Handicap Index. If you anticipate an issue regarding you or your guest’s handicap\, please contact Adam Bowles at 828.694.3040 prior to the tournament. Each player will receive 100% of their course handicap per the USGA Rules of Handicapping. Players will stroke off the low player in each match. All team’s handicaps will be adjusted to a maximum of 10 strokes difference between players. \nSCORING\nThe format for the matches is Four-Ball Match Play.
