SUMMARY:40th Annual Lake Lure Lions Club Open Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Lake Lure Lions Club and hosted at the Bald Mountain Golf Course \nFormat \n\nSign up a Team or individually (we will place you on a team). Print your name\, USGA or GHIN handicap index (handicap must be verified.) If you do not have a verifiable handicap\, you will need to call Adam Bowles (828) 694-3040 to discuss. If you are unable to submit a handicap\, you will be given a handicap of 0.\nScoring will be Handicapped Scramble.\nMen 56 and over will play from yellow tees. Men 55 and younger will play from white tees. Women will play from red tees.\nEntry fee is $100 per player. Cash or check only; NO CREDIT CARDS. Entry fee includes all golf fees\, coffee and donuts prior to 8:30am shotgun start. A lunch is included in the tournament fee.\nPrizes – Men’s and Women’s Divisions:\n– Prizes for Winners – Overall Low Gross Team and 1st and 2nd Place Low Net Teams – will be Pro Shop Gift Certificates (Men and Women)\n– Cash prizes for Men’s Closest to Pin on #2; Women’s Closest to Pin on #16\n– Hole-in-One on hole #6 is $200 Cash. SUMMARY:Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament 2026
DESCRIPTION:Sign Up \nDue to increased demand since 2022\, we needed to address the challenge of event registration. From March 1st-13th\, our POA members will have the opportunity to sign up. Starting March 14th at 9am\, all sign-ups must be sent via email to abowles@rumblingbald.com. \n\nTournament Information \n\nMonday is a practice round.\nTuesday and Wednesday are rounds one and two.\nTwo-person low net\, low gross\nFlight winners and closest-to-hole prizes\nOverall gross and net winner\nLimited to 52 teams\nRange balls are included each day.\nThe maximum number of shots a player will receive is 36\, regardless of handicap index\n\nMONDAY\, THE 18TH \n\nPractice rounds may be scheduled at your convenience\nReduced the rate for players to $45\nPutting contest from 4-6pm on the Bald Mountain practice green\nRegistration is from 5:30-7pm at the Lakeview Terrace with a cash bar\nTee gifts distributed\nDinner at 7pm on the Lakeview Terrace\n\nTUESDAY\, THE 19TH \n\nApple Valley Golf Course\, 18-holes\nBreakfast at the Lakeview Terrace from 7:30-8:50am\nRound one begins at 9am.\nOptional box lunch available for purchase\nDinner at 7pm on the Lakeview Terrace\nEvening entertainment\n\nWEDNESDAY\, THE 20th \n\nBald Mountain Golf Course\, 18-holes\nBreakfast at the Lakeview Terrace from 7:30-8:50am\nRound two begins at 9am.\nLunch will be provided after play on the Lakeview Terrace\nAwards\n\nEntry Fee: $320 pp\nEntry Form due by April 1st\, 2026. We have everything from studio villas to two and three-bedroom condominiums. A portfolio of individual mountain homes is also available. Two-\, three-\, four-\, and six-bedroom homes offer a variety of sleeping arrangements for groups of all sizes. \nAPPLE VALLEY VILLAS – $145*\nOne-room efficiency villas have one king or queen bed with a sleeper sofa\, or two double beds. Efficiency kitchen includes a two-burner stove\, small refrigerator\, microwave\, toaster\, coffee pot\, and a kitchen table for four. All units have a balcony. The Apple Valley Villas are located approximately one mile from the main outdoor pool\, recreation center\, and private beach. \nFAIRWAY VILLAS – $250*\nLocated along the Bald Mountain Golf Course\, Fairway Villas offer two bedrooms\, two full baths\, a living room\, a full-size kitchen\, and a washer and dryer. These units are located within walking distance of the main outdoor pool\, Wellness Center\, and private beach.
