DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Rumbling Bald in Lake Lure during a milestone summer for our community. In July 2026\, fireworks return to Lake Lure for the first time since its restoration\, anchoring a three-day Fourth of July celebration featuring lakefront activities\, live music\, family-friendly events\, and holiday dining. \nThis year’s celebration will feature our largest fireworks show ever\, honoring both the return of Lake Lure and the 250th anniversary of the United States. Guests can enjoy beach cookouts\, concerts\, games\, parades\, and special events throughout the weekend\, with the main fireworks display taking place Saturday night over Lake Lure. \nFriday\, July 3rd \n\n11am-8pm Beach Cookout\n11am-2pm Self-Led Scavenger Hunt\n3-5pm Paddleboard Jousting Tournament\n6-9pm Concert on the Beach featuring The Pleasure Chest\n8-9pm Beachside Marshmallow Roast (while supplies last)\n9:30pm Movie on the Beach – JAWS!\n\nSaturday\, July 4th \n\n8-11am All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Buffet at Legends $25 (adults) / $15 (kids under 12). RSVPs strongly encouraged\, walk-ins welcome.
