We have many options for your stay at Rumbling Bald – from RV spots, studios, condos, and large rental homes, you are sure to find the perfect fit for you. Choose a rental home with the size that fits you with customizable search options to fill your every desire. Many of our rental units welcome furry friends, so be sure to look for the pawprint next to your rental to ensure the space you select is “pet allowed”. These pet friendly accommodations allow for you to bring along every family member on your trip to Rumbling Bald.
Doggy Park Playtime
If your pooch is super social and walks on the beach just aren’t cutting it, bring your pup along to our new dog park – located beside the Trout Stream Pool Complex. This park allows for your pups to frolic and play together in a safe enclosed space. There are stations throughout the park to help assist you in cleaning up after your pet. We ask that every visitor respects the space by always keeping an eye on their pet and help Rumbling Bald keep this puppy park a fun and clean space for all. Bring your pooch down for some fun in the sand and doggy park playtime!
Include Your Pet in the “I Do”
Weddings at Rumbling Bald are all about embracing every loved one – which definitely include our furry friends. So many of our couples at Rumbling Bald love to share their special wedding day with their fur-babies as their ring bearers, in special family portraits, and more. We think your furry best friend is just as important to include and is just as much a part of the family too. Enjoy the Lake Access
Lake Lure is one of the primary focal points at Rumbling Bald with boat rentals and adventures on the lake being a top favorite among our guests and members. You won’t have to leave your furry friends behind when you take out one of our kayaks or SUP boards. Bring your pup along for a paddling experience during your day on the lake. After you sweat in out on the lake, take a moment to relax on our private North Shore Beach with your pooch – grab a few beach chairs from our Cabana or just lay out on the sand for a while.
Paws on Property
Our many amenities at Rumbling Bald include some expansive outdoor spaces like our private North Shore Beach – and your pets are always welcome. The main property where much of the hustle and bustle happens at Rumbling Bald is open to all our visiting pets with the understanding that they are leashed and watched over by their owners. You will often see many puppy meets up in the early mornings and early evenings on our beach. Or maybe even spy a golfers’ assistant in the form of a pooch. Walking Trails, Hiking, and More
Whether you want your four-legged best friend walking by your side for your wedding, your morning run, or adventurous hike, Rumbling Bald has all the avenues to get you there. Take your pet on our one-mile fitness loop, which wraps through our beautiful mountain landscape on raised walking bridges. If your pooch can handle a more extensive workout, hit the Buffalo Creek Hiking Trail off our private access that includes five miles of hiking trails to explore.
